Your drawing comes to life as a song!
Let’s make songs with musicians
Let’s make song lyrics by forming small groups and drawing a theme that evokes a story, such as sci-fi and fairy tales.
The instructor, who is a singer-songwriter, will introduce you to word choices and how to shape them into lyrics. The lyrics you write in this workshop will be turned into a song with music, which you can download at a later date.

Profile
Kenjiro Maruyama
Kenjiro Maruyama is a singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Shizuoka City. In addition to performing solo with guitar and vocals, he has been involved in a range of cross-disciplinary collaborative projects. These include creating a CD that reinterprets folk songs from Shizuoka Prefecture with a fresh perspective (2017); holding a concert at an FIDR hospital (Kratié, Cambodia, 2019); created a video and music in collaboration with the Motion Picture Club at Musashino Art University (Jeonju, Korea, 2014); and composing stage music for the Shizuoka Community Dance Performances at Shizuoka City Culture Hall (2013-present). Since 2021, he has been running guitar and ukulele lessons in Shimizu, Shizuoka Prefecture.
