This is one of the ensemble drama pieces written by Lolo director Naoyuki Miura for university students and citizens around Japan to participate in performances at public theaters, starting with a performance at the Tokyo Festival 2023.
The performance is a collection of short episodes featuring over 50 characters intertwined in one omnibus story.
What emerges from the compilation of everyday moments may be an era, a city, or the very world we live in.

THE ROAD TO HEAVEN is the story of a young man who constantly climbs on the pole. By this simple story of a man who climbs up and down in an irregularly repeating motion, the audience gets to reflect on one’s own city life.
It is a ‘contemporary-circus’ created by collaboration of ‘Chinese-pole’, a circus art, and Korean traditional performing art."

The landscape always seems to be there in the same way, but it is ever-changing with time, seasons, events, and living creatures. This is a dance project to rediscover the expanding landscape by placing our bodies in the free and serene scenery of the town and adjusting our bodies to the time of the landscape.

This is an extended art performance by a dancer and an architect.
There are the “bamboo artworks” which continue to expand with the participants, and the “dance” which will develop in response to the situation.
The performance plays with the boundary line that never disappears, framing the Sumpu Castle Park and people coming and going from multiple perspectives.

The “Protagonist-san” is walking around the park, basking in the sun.
While pretending to take a walk, you, the audience member, listen to the protagonist’s posts using your smartphone.
