- Playwright and director of Lolo, born in Miyagi Prefecture. MIURA founded Lolo as director in 2009. The theater company has been creating idiosyncratic boy-meets-girl “encounters” stories by revisiting traditional relationships, including family and lovers. He has engaged in a wide range of activities beyond the field of theater performance, including providing scripts for TV dramas, directing music videos, and holding workshops as a lecturer. In 2019, he won the Drama Screenplay Award at the 16th Confidence Award for Fujoshi, ukkari gei ni kokuru (A Yaoi fangirl confessed love to a gay person by accident), produced by NHK and written by MIURA.

- The Road to Heaven
- Core Program Contemporary circus Korea
"A man’s way to the sky (heaven), constantly walking, climbing and falling.
From a distance, a man is walking closer with a long pole on his shoulders. This man, walks with
the pole, rides it to climb somewhere, and even sings with it. After some time, he sets the pole vertically and starts to climb to the highest place, the heaven ...
THE ROAD TO HEAVEN is the story of a young man who constantly climbs on the pole. By this simple story of a man who climbs up and down in an irregularly repeating motion, the audience gets to reflect on one’s own city life.
It is a ‘contemporary-circus’ created by collaboration of ‘Chinese-pole’, a circus art, and Korean traditional performing art."

BONG n JOULE’s aim is to create a contemporary circus through the combination of circus art and other genres while focusing on the fragile part of human being behind the circus technique which looks splendid. Time and space where symbolic beings are mixed in reality is called ‘Heterotopia’.
Through the symbolic presence of the circus art, ‘Heterotopia’ will implement on the stage and we’ll see how the daily routine looks different from its viewpoint.

- Safari.P is a theater company composed of performers (actors and dancers), technical staff (lighting and sound technicians), and a group of directors (stage directors and dramaturgs). There are six members: Kosuke Ashiya, Tatsuya, Yasuko Sasaki, Akane Ikebe, Yasuyo Morinaga, and Akane Yamaguchi (as of October 2023).
Previously, the company’s productions were mainly interpretations of existing plays and novels. By interpreting the original literary text with a focus on the author’s background and the context underlying the work, the company selects and extracts minimal text for their theatrical adaptation. As a theater company comprising both actors and dancers, Safari.P excels in visualizing the inconspicuous yet undeniably present elements of the original literary world that are structured with written words only, through the body and minimal scenography and text. The company won the Excellent Director Award (first place) for This Property Is Condemned (written by Tennessee Williams) at the 2015 Toga Theater Competition. They performed Le Grand Cahier at ODA Theatre (Pristina, Kosovo ) upon invitation to the 7th edition of the FemArt Festival in June 2019 and at the fall edition of Setouchi Triennale in October 2019.

- Dainiji Tanisugi ≒ Ears+Eyes
- I am creating a theatrical installation work utilizing the framework of theater. The definition of theater is “something” created by having a performer and an audience in the same space. If a member of the audience does something under the instruction of the artist, and there is another audience watching, then a “piece” of theater is born in that small space. The moment the member of the audience unintentionally becomes a performer, they become aware of the gaze of the audience, and a small change occurs in the way they perceive the work in front of them. This is the basic structure of my “theater installation” but I shift, expand, sometimes cheat, and sometimes give up while creating it.
