“Uchu-gokko (Space Game)”

We are at the future space station. Listen everyone gathering on the last day of the earth. Soon there will be three aliens disguised as astronauts coming to get you. You’d better run away because you would also become aliens when they touch you. Good luck, the last one to remain is the “true Earthian!”
This is how “Uchu-gokko (Space Game)” starts. But this participatory performance is not just a game of tag. It may be about an instinct that every living thing runs away when being chased, even if there is no danger. Letting loose this instinct which tends to be suppressed in everyday life is one of the goals of this “Uchu-gokko (Space Game).” Regardless of one’s age and nationality, what one experiences - the discovery, the strangeness, and a little bit of fear - through being chased by creatures different from us human being on the earth would be valuable.
“Uchu-gokko (Space Game)” derives those experience with aliens moving in slow motion. Because of the slowness, the participants do not need to run all the time. It is a participatory performance open to anyone from children to the elderly. As some feedback from the past says, “It is fun to watch reactions and response of other participants.”
